Prof. Amnon Shashua , , , Co-founder, Chairman of the Board and CTO

Professor Shashua holds the Sachs Chair in computer science at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. His field of expertise is computer vision and machine learning. He received the MARR Prize Honorable Mention in 2001, the Kaye Innovation Award in 2004, and the Landau Award in Exact Sciences in 2005. Since 2010 he is the co-founder, Chief Technology Officer and Chairman of OrCam, an Israeli company that recently launched an assistive product for the visually impaired based on advanced computerized visual interpretation capabilities.

Mr. Ziv Aviram , , , Co-founder, President and CEO

Prior to Mobileye, Mr. Aviram was the CEO of three Israeli companies, all leaders in their fields, (Keter – Retail Chain, Gali – Retail Chain, Attrakzia). Mr. Aviram has, in all three cases, taken the companies from loss to profit by restructuring the organization appropriately. Since 2010 Mr. Aviram is also co-founder, President and Chief Executive Officer of OrCam.

Mr. Ofer Maharshak , , , Senior VP, Chief Financial Officer

Mr. Maharshak joined Mobileye in 2007. Prior to joining Mobileye, Mr. Maharshak served as Corporate Finance Manager (FP&A) at Lipman Electronics Engineering, Director of Finance at Atrica Inc., Corporate Controller for Printlife and was a manager at Ernst & Young Israel. Mr. Maharshak holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business from the College of Management in Israel with a specialty in accounting, and is a licensed CPA in Israel.

Dr. Gaby Hayon , , , Senior VP Research and Development

Dr. Hayon joined Mobileye after working at Applied Materials, in the wafer inspection division, in algorithms development for vision and image processing applications. Dr. Hayon received his Ph.D. from the Center of Neural Computation of the Hebrew University where his research concerned theoretical exploration of temporal correlation based approaches for neural networks. Dr. Hayon holds a M.Sc. in Physics from the Weitzman Institute of Science where he did theoretical work in field theory, and a B.Sc. in Physics from the Technion – Israel Institute of Technology.

Dr. Itay Gat , , , Senior VP Production Programs

Dr. Gat graduated from the esteemed Israeli military Talpiyot program and later served in the IDF research and development corps. Dr. Gat received his Ph.D. from the Institute of Computer Science of the Hebrew University, focusing on the analysis of cortical activity, and utilized tools from the domain of machine learning. Prior to joining Mobileye, Dr. Gat worked at Comverse (NASDAQ:CMVT), as a researcher in the field of speech processing and at Compugen (NASDAQ:CGEN), where he led several basic research groups, especially in the computational medicine area. Dr. Gat is married with three children, rides a bicycle to work every day, and is on Mobileye’s basketball team.

Mr. Elchanan Rushinek , , , Senior VP Engineering

Mr. Rushinek has 20 years of experience in the VLSI area. Mr. Rushinek started as VLSI designer at Intel Israel, involved in the design of the first 10Mbit Ethernet controller product. In 1983, Mr. Rushinek joined Motorola Semiconductor Israel, and led the VLSI design of Motorola’s first Digital Signal Processor product – DSP5600. In 1987 he managed Motorola’s Semiconductor Israel VLSI DSP design group, which designed products based on 56000 DSP cores as well as the new DSP56300 DSP core and products. Mr. Rushinek also managed Motorola Wireless Handset Baseband’s System On Chip VLSI design group.

Dr. Gideon Stein , , , Chief Research Scientist

Dr. Stein was a research scientist at the Artificial Intelligence laboratory of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) until March 1999. Dr. Stein received his Ph.D. from MIT in February 1998 and his M.Sc. from MIT in 1993, both in the field of computer vision. His expertise is in the areas of multiple-view geometry, visual motion estimation and photogrammetry.

Mr. Elad Serfaty , , , VP and General Manager Aftermarket Division

Mr. Serfaty joined Mobileye in 2010. Prior to this, from 2007-2010 Mr. Serfaty served as the General Manager of a software company, and from 2004-2007 served as Vice-President of Sales and Business Development for an IT company. Mr. Serfaty holds a BSc in Electrical Engineering with a specialization in RF engineering.

Mrs. Liz Cohen-Yerushalmi , , , VP Legal Affairs, General Counsel and Secretary

Mrs. Cohen-Yerushalmi joined Mobileye in July 2014. Mrs. Cohen-Yerushalmi brings extensive experience as an in-house counsel to Mobileye. Mrs. Cohen-Yerushalmi had been the Legal Counsel, and later the General Counsel, at AudioCodes Ltd. (NASDAQ: AUDC), a leading provider of VoIP technology and solutions. Mrs. Cohen-Yerushalmi had also served as the president of the Israeli chapter of the Association of Corporate Counsel, a non-profit organization dedicated to the provision of special services to in-house counsel. Earlier in her career (2001-2004) Mrs. Cohen-Yerushalmi acted as a risk manager at Cellcom Israel Ltd., and prior to that (1999-2001) she was an in-house claims controller for an Israeli insurance company. Mrs. Cohen-Yerushalmi is a member of the Israeli Lawyers Bar Association, has an LLB from the Israeli College of Management and a BA in English Literature from the Tel Aviv University.

Dr. Yoram Gdalyahu , , , VP Algorithms Development

Dr. Gdalyahu joined Mobileye in 2001. Dr. Gdalyahu received his Ph.D. from the Center of Neural Computation of the Hebrew University for a research in computer vision. Dr. Gedalyahu also has degrees in physics and mathematics. In the past Dr. Gdalyahu worked for IBM research, Compugen and Samsung Electronics.

Mr. Erez Dagan , , , VP Advanced Technology

Mr. Dagan joined Mobileye in 2003 as a student of the “Engineering, Intelligent Systems” program of the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. Throughout his years at Mobileye, Mr. Dagan has led large scale algorithmic R&D processes and IP capturing in the field of object detection, as well as managing the suit of associated ADAS products – Autonomous Emergency Braking, Monocular Adaptive Cruise Control and others. In 2010 Mr. Dagan received his MBA from IDC, Herzliya.

Mr. Pini Segal , , , VP Finance and Human Resources

Mr. Segal joined Mobileye after a long career in the public and private sectors. He served as the general manager of a number of organizations dealing with the manufacturing of optics and electronics. Mr. Segal received his MBA from the Hebrew University, with a specialization in finance and information systems.

Mr. Norio Ichihashi , , , Chairman, Mobileye Japan Ltd.

Mr. Ichihashi graduated from Tokyo University where he obtained his M.Sc. in Industrial Chemistry in 1970. Mr. Ichihashi worked for 23 years at JSR where he was in charge of automobile materials and had key accounts with major car manufacturers in Japan. Mr. Ichihashi started his own business based on computer vision 20 years ago and is one of the first employees of Mobileye.

Mr. Shotaro Kawahara , , , CEO, Mobileye Japan Ltd

Mr. Kawahara graduated from Keio University. After experience at a SI vendor, he joined a start-up company in New York specializing in 3D reconstruction from still images, where he was in charge of all customer projects. Mr. Kawahara joined Mobileye through his activity at GenTech and was later appointed CEO of Mobileye Japan Ltd.
